CHIREDZI-The only 3 Star hotel in Chiredzi, Nesbitt Arms hotel has been sold, this publication has learnt.

While every effort was made to get a comment from the owner Diggy Nisbett but to no avail, workers at the sprawling hotel told this publication that they have since signed new contracts with the new owner, Pote Holdings, who is set to resume operations next month.
The employees told us that an employee take over arrangement was made between their former employer and the current one, allowing the new owner to take over all the Staff at the hotel.
This publication is however aware that some few workers have not signed the take over arrangement and are weighing on a retrenchment package.
An employee who picked up our call at Nesbitt Castle hotel in Bulawayo, the Head office for the property mogul, neither denied nor confirmed the development.
“I am not sure whether an agreement of sale was signed for that hotel but all what I know is that the property is among other properties on the Lowveld that was handed over to a Real Estate Agent for disposition ” she said.
From the time his Crocodile farm was wrestled away from him by the late Veteran, Diggy Nesbitt sold most his properties, mainly houses and workplaces in frustration. He had since relocated to Bulawayo.
No immediate comment came from Pote Holdings despite several enquiries into the matter.
