Former Zaka West legislator, Festus Dumbu was today appointed shadow Minister of State for Masvingo Province at a meeting held at Harvest House in Harare.

Thirty six(36) shadow Ministers were announced today by the Douglas Mwonzora led MDC-T party.
Dumbu’s appointment effectively pits him in a political tussle with the Incubent Government and Zanu PF party appointed Ezra Chadzamira.
Titles seem to be piling up on Dumbu who was this year voted the Chairperson of the Boxing Federation Association of Zimbabwe.
Dumbu remained with Douglas Mwonzora after breaking ties with Nelson Chamisa.
When contacted for a comment, Dumbu said although he did not attend the meeting, he is honored to receive such a responsibility and he appreciates those who entrusted him with such a honor.
“Although I didn’t attend the meeting, it is an honor to receive such a responsibility and I thank those who have entrusted me.” Dumbu said.
Efforts to get a comment from spokesperson Witness Dube and Presidential Spokes person Lloyd Damba were fruitless.
Lowveld Checkpoint is reliably informed that Dumbu is among the 36 members who were appointed for a Shadow Cabinet for the Mwonzora led opposition party.
