The recovery mission has been set for tomorrow morning.
Eye witnesses claim that the Land Rover Defender belonging to Netone was swept away yesterday morning at Chilonga Bridge, occupants were a male and a female.
Names are yet to be released upon notification of the next of kins.
The ZRP Buchwa subAqua team, Civil Protection Unit and Tongaat Hulett Fire Brigade have attended the scene and discussed the strategies on how to recover the bodies.
According to privy sources in the police, the sub aqua team has assesed the situation and are trying to avoid diving into the plunge as the previous team lost a member during a similar incident.
They are suggesting to use a power boat to try to reach the vehicle however, the power boat is no way on site.
One of the locals opined that if this effort by the Government was put yesterday, the process might have been over by now.
