Chiredzi- An employee of Tongaat Hulett, Mathew Masese (48) was caught pants down, sexually abusing a minor (7), who happens to be his niece at section 1, Hippo Valley Estate.

Allegations are that, on February 10, the accused, who is also an uncle to the complainant, got home from his workplace and found the female juvenile alone at her homestead.
According to the state papers, Masese invited the minor into the kitchen, where he proposed to have sexual intercourse with her.
The young girl complied and proceeded to the kitchen where she was ordered to lie down facing upwards on a mat of reeds.
The accused went on to remove the complainant’s under garment, pushed her dress upwards and lowered his trousers to the knee level.
It is alleged that Masese engaged into sexual intercourse with the minor once without her consent.
In the midst of the act, the complainant’s father Langton Ngoveni arrived and upon witnessing this evil act, he immediately intervened and pushed Masese away from the poor girl.
Ngoveni was assisted by his neighbors to drag the accused to the police station where the accused was apprehended around 1600hrs on the same day.
A medical report showed that the juvenile had been raped and Masese awaits trial.
