Chiredzi- Police in Chiredzi have recovered a dead body of a middle aged man dumped along a railway line near GMB Nandi this evening.

The decomposing body was discovered by herdboys who alerted Ward 32 Councillor Aspect Mashingaidze.
The Councillor reported the matter to the police who came and removed the body at around 2000 hrs.
The deceased was putting on a White short only. His body has multiple bruises and a cut on the forehead.There is suspicion that the man could have been murdered.
At the time of publishing, the police could not give more light on the matter saying they still need time to investigate the matter as well as conveying the message to Masvingo Provincial Police spokesperson, Inspector Kudakwashe Dehwa.
The junction at GMB Nandi has become a hot spot for robberies and criminal activities and the public is warned not to travel or drop during odd hours.
